Cathy Middleton, Esq. is a nationally renowned relationship attorney and author of two ground breaking books on child support. Her first book, Girl Get That Child Support, is a how-to guide for women who are struggling to make the fathers' of their children financially accountable to them. Her second book, Boy Drop That Child Support, is a guide for men who are battling paternity fraud, child support abuse and mistreatment at the hands of the Office for Child Support Enforcement. Girl Get That Child Support has been endorsed by both Ebony and Vibe Magazines. The book has also been featured on the Ellen Degeneres Show. In 2011 Don Diva Magazine named Boy Drop That Child Support a best selling urban book of that year. Middleton's third book, which focuses on child custody and visitation is scheduled for release next year.
Over the course of her eighteen year legal career Cathy Middleton has successfully litigated over a thousand complex paternity, child support, custody and visitation cases. She has handled cases involving NBA and NFL players and Grammy award winning artists. Middleton has also served as an on-air legal expert for a host of nationally syndicated television and radio shows including the Wendy Williams Show, the Tyra Banks Show, the Michael Baisden Show, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the Doug Banks Show, the Santita Jackson Show, WABC TV and National Public Radio.
Middleton holds both a Juris Doctorate and an LLM degree from the James E. Beasly School of Law at Temple University. She resides in New York with both her husband, litigation attorney Gregory Lewis and their daughter.
